  I worked as a swim instructor and lifeguard at Goldfish. I taught kids k-12 how to swim during 30 minute lessons. I went to company in-services monthly to keep up my knowledge on our curriculum and to hear messages from corporate. I delivered a fun, safe, and encouraging learning environment for parents to take their children to. I had to communicate with both kids and parents effectively to make sure that our clients had the best possible experience at our facility.I still work at… I worked as a swim instructor and lifeguard at Goldfish. I taught kids k-12 how to swim during 30 minute lessons. I went to company in-services monthly to keep up my knowledge on our curriculum and to hear messages from corporate. I delivered a fun, safe, and encouraging learning environment for parents to take their children to. I had to communicate with both kids and parents effectively to make sure that our clients had the best possible experience at our facility.I still work at Goldfish from time to time as a permanent substitute when I am home in Indiana for school breaks. Conner Prairie

  I served as a lifeguard and counselor for Conner Prairie day camps during the summer of 2018. This position was 8-4pm, and was my first full time job. I was primarily a lifeguard at the camp where I led kids in canoe trips on the White River and oversaw swim time at the pond, but due to a lack of staff, I often stepped in as a counselor as well. Providing kids with a fun-filled day of learning on the Conner Prairie Museum property.
