When I joined ABBYY about 10 years ago the digitalization era was just starting. Our innovative system was young, not perfect, and had version 1 as it's ordinal number. None of partners could use it comfortably, I was told there is only ONE outside expert in the world who can co-exist with it. That expert was Rob! He is still one of most experienced and knowledgable partner in digitalization area I ever met. At that starting year I got a dream to meet Rob in person, and dream came true 3 years later at partner seminar of 2004. Needless to say that I fell in love in this cheery, smart, red-heared gentleman, one of the best interlocutor in the world! From that time it wasn't matter if we had or not joint project to share - Rob is somebody you can always rely at, ask a favor or get a support. The man of trust and knowledge!

I work with Rob for years now and he has proven to be an excellent business partner. One of the most important things in a partnership is trust and Rob is a perfect example of someone you can trust. He and his company know a lot about OCR and his experience makes it possible to pick up almost every case in text recognition. Keep up the good work Rob.

The "Book2CD Project" have arisen from the demand for reproducties of old publications. As we have a lot of knowledge on bookscanning and the production of digital documents this initiative was a logical next step to be made. With today's and tomorrow's technique, the name BoekopCD has been lost and has been replaced by DigiCodex. The "Book2CD Project" have arisen from the demand for reproducties of old publications.
