Learned Creo to be able to design conceptual mechanical designs for my team and created 3D models given the constraints of the system. Helped to revise and create mechanical drawings and document all changes in the product lifecycle management system, Windchill.Created instructions for the use of a new 3D scanner, and tested the 3D scanner to determine if it could be used effectively for reverse engineering of tooling and/or rapid part inspection. Generated 3D models and short videos to supplement 2D work instructions using SolidWorks, which reduced worker error during assembly. Developed a system to more efficiently bundle and cut cables for assembly, then implemented and tested the system thoroughly. Designed a jig that could be used in both the production of parts but also in quality inspection and shipping. The jig simplified production steps and reduced overall assembly time.
