Cam volunteered for the National Parents Organization on getting a law passed that presumes equal time with both parents is in a child's best interest if the parents are healthy. His communication ability showed when Senate Bill 463 passed both chambers with overwhelming majorities. Further, Governor Justice signed the bill too. Cam demonstrated the ability to work with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle while doing so as a volunteer. I had the pleasure of seeing Cam's work first hand in 2021. He coordinated my testimony on child custody legislation at a House committee meeting. I personally witnessed his comfortable style leading to personal relationships with many lawmakers. Cam was so effective and professional that the National Parents Organization asked him to help advise volunteers in other states. Cam is as effective a volunteer lobbyist as I've seen in all the states in which I've worked.
