Jonathan L.
Calvin was a truly exceptional communications team intern. He went above and beyond to promote and highlight the work of CNAS’ researchers. He was invaluable in assisting me in preparing and technically executing live television interviews from within the CNAS studio. He has an impressive understanding of data analytics and coding, which he uses for his personal research and interest in understanding how misinformation spreads. He is intellectually curious, artistic, enthusiastic, and really a tremendous person. I recommend him wholly and enthusiastically!
Hannah Holbrook
It's an absolute pleasure to know Calvin as a classmate, coworker, and friend! During our graduate studies, he utilized his background in computer science to help teach me R coding. He was always willing to help support another fellow student who didn't quite understand the subject material at hand. At UMaine Graduate School where we were both hired as graduate assistants, Calvin always took initiative to find innovative tech solutions to the office's problems. He helped make improvements in our marketing/outreach to students, data collection, and social media management. Calvin's go-getter attitude, supportive nature towards others, and extensive knowledge base from his multiple degrees makes him an incredible asset to any workplace.
