Along with Matt Lewin, built up MTL from being a 2 man consultancy to an organisation with over 40 people supporting FPSO integrity management and on-station repair projects in UKCS, Newfoundland and West Africa. Building and leading repair teams to achieve exceptional performance.Developed repair procedures, safety procedures and bespoke equipment to support inspection and hotwork repairs within the tanks of producing FPSO's. Established project and managed significant structural repairs with ongoing production on an FPSO in Equatorial Guinea from 2006 - 2013 with up to 30 people working in tanks. Following this, also developed a more responsive small team approach for minor hull repairs with MTL providing supervision, plant, consumables and engineering support for assets in UKCS and Canada. Proud to be active in spreading our knowledge of managing FPSO hull integrity throughout the life cycle and developing the most advanced software tools and equipment to support inspection and repair in production. Pioneers of virtual reality simulations of tank inspections/repairs and the fully digitalised hull inspection process - from planning through to execution and close out.
