In the 20 years that I have been employed full time at TT Logistics (TTL). I have held many roles. These have included the following Current position: Senior Fleet Controller and Container Controller– My daily duties include but are not limited to: • Match load size / destinations with the best vehicle (Truck size) and route • Produce Route maps & site information of pick up & delivery points • Prioritising adhoc/urgent work • Conduct inductions for new drivers • Monitoring and task allocation for warehouse staff, including fork lift drivers and picking staff • Check to see that procedures are being followed locally and interstate to meet DIFOT requirements • Do site audits of pick up & delivery points to ensure OHS practise are being follow by drivers and to find any new hazards that may have risen • Meet with Customers & 3PL Suppliers to discuss performances • Input data for invoicing and KPI for accounts department and Senior Staff • Daily open up and management of two warehouses until more senior staff arrive • Update customers of any delays and problems that may be occurring or are foreseen • Working on Continuous Improvement activities • Ensuring loads are Delivered In Full and On Time Further responsibilities include being wholly responsible for client / supplier liaison, load scheduling, Staff allocation, Route planning, achieving KPIs, and ensuring that clients receive their orders DIFOT. Also responsible for Continuous improvement within the Transport department and assisting other members of the transport team to achieve their daily goals. Other Roles that I have had at TTL are, Inventory controller. Night Shift Team leader. Night Shift Picker / Pick Checker.
