  I secured an initial week of work experience within the development office and was tasked with reviewing historic appraisals and producing planning applications; these were then compared to the actual application which had been used and feedback would be given on potential improvements. During my time there I gained skills in utilising GIS software to find details of sites and distribute information to colleagues. I returned to Savills later in the year for a subsequent week long work experience placement within the planning office; working side by side with a mentor and undertaking a range of personalised tasks.
