As a key figure within the purchasing department my role includes developing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and promotional structures and general stock holdings. Within this, the Frozen at Sea Fish Category is as aspect of the business that I am developing closely through both procurement and strategic improvements. This role combines strategic and creative thinking along with constant communication which are traits I would deem as my strengths. The Frozen at Sea Category is fast paced through the nature of commodity buying.In the niche industry of Fish & Chips, the sales strategy and forecasting elements makes my this role continuously engaging. Each day is a new challenge! Whether it be creating a vision for the sales force, to organising outside storage locations and stock stock movements, the diversity of this role means that I am constantly part of multi divisional team and positioned in a multi functional role.
