I worked with an amazing staff of supervisors and student leaders at the University of Arizona, where we provide support to all students in classes with high withdrawal rates. I fully immersed myself in the work environment and gained valuable insights in the role of a CNA. I assisted elderly residents with daily assisted living tasks, such as helping residents get in and out of bed, toileting, showering/bathing, brushing hair, and feeding. During my time as a CNA, I further developed my skills in professionalism and I had the pleasure of getting to know many of the older residents.
