I worked with Royal Mail, through Manpower, to help with high influx of parcels due to COVID-19, sorting and delivering parcels from their mail centre in Southampton. Due to the ongoing epidemic and the naturally busy work environment, high standards of safety and hygiene practises were required to reduce the risk of infection for both my colleges and customers. As a rental assistant on a ski field I was responsible for adjusting skis and snowboards so that they are suitable and as safe as possible for each person. This required me to have excellent product knowledge to give advice on technical equipment and great communication skills to understand the customer’s needs and ability. As I was a senior in this role, I was responsible for training and supervising new employees to ensure that they too followed the same high standard of safety and customer service. Show less

Work throughout the summer months at events and festivals. I lead small teams to complete various tasks, such as the setup of stalls and cleaning the area, this involved giving briefs to my team each shift, co-ordinating with other companies and leaders to ensure a safe working environment during setup and pack-down of the site. Other responsibilities involved arranging displays in the window and on the floor, organising new and old products to restock shelves and good product knowledge and communication skills to give advice on technical equipment.
