SMU ASoc's Student Life department aims to provide students a fun and vibrant school experience. Through various iterations of welfare drives and the Community Service Project where we teach secondary school students about financial literacy - Project Moolah, we hope that students can build strong and long-lasting friendships, while also fostering a sense of belonging to the School of Accountancy. • People Partnerships Intern
      • May 2022 - Jun 2022

As the opportunity to try something new arose, I jumped at the chance to work as a people partnerships intern as part of the HR team of Affinidi. Being tasked to focus on policy writing, I did extensive market research of best practices and collected numerous stakeholder feedback which allowed me to structure the policies in the best way possible.

    • Business Development and Operations Intern
      • Feb 2022 - May 2022

I worked as a business development and operations support in the financial services team under Affinidi Finnovate, looking for potential stakeholders whom we can engage in the Asia-Pacific region. I also worked closely with ASEAN Financial Innovation Network (AFIN), promoting and onboarding members from companies worldwide onto APIX Platform.

    • Counselling Specialist
      • Mar 2020 - Jan 2022

I worked as a counselling specialist for the SAF Counselling Centre. My primary roles were attending to the administrative needs of my assigned counsellor. These included registering new clients, scheduling of clients appointments, informing the relevant parties of such appointments and producing monthly counselling statistic reports. Another of my primary roles were manning the SAF Counselling Hotline, a 24hr hotline dedicated to helping servicemen in distress or any related concerns. As part of my secondary roles, we were required to facilitate the training of new counsellors and counselling specialists in the army. Another duty was to give anti-drug talks to the newly enlisted soldiers, to teach them how to manage stress without the use of drugs and keep them aware of the avenues of help. Show less
