  As a 3D Printing Specialist, I maintained small studio scale operation with a very small team,corresponding with Interior Design Students new to the 3D Printing process on a one on one level to make their projects come to fruition. To ensure proper organization of student meeting appointments and student part submissions, I helped maintain a small to medium sized database. To ensure consistent quality of parts, I screened student files for printability using Autodesk Net Fab Premium.

  As a Student Union Ambassador, my responsibility is to make the Student Union as welcoming as possible, supporting the Union's function as the living room of the Pratt community. To facilitate this, I help to maintain the space, facilitate reservations, help prepare rooms for meetings, and help plan activities and events for students who frequent the space. Student Union Ambassadors also help set up for major events in the space, learning basic technology and sound engineering skills.

  Student Staff were responsible for the operation of all 3D printers, which included SLA (resin & wax) and FDM (PLA/specialty filament) processes, as well as the operation of laser cutters for appointment based laser cutting . Staff were also responsible for screening files for printability using Materialize Magics and Autodesk Net Fab Premium , maintaining a large database, and learning to use Salesforce (case based digital customer service application) to provide customer service during the pandemic. For lasercutting services, student workers were responsible for being knowledgeable about accepted materials, workflows, safety protocol, file preparation, and file screening.
