I've known Caleb for many years. I've seen him grow and develop from a remarkable youth to a remarkable young man with strong leadership and tremendous integrity. He is a respected and well-grounded individual that has a very bright future ahead of him. Whoever comes around him is immediately and naturally drawn into his dynamic, solid character and personality. Caleb has a strong sense of accountability, honesty and relationship and will carry all these qualities wherever he goes and whatever he does.

Simply put, my job was to know what we had, know what we needed, know who was working, and know what they did. During my time with SIBC, we consolidated from two facilities (one on an island) into one manufacturing facility, which the owner and I designed. I had the opportunity to participate in every aspect of the company from process design, ordering, and shipping, to financial reporting and everything in between, to include my fair share of dishwashing. SIBC is bakery and e-commerce company that produces an 8-10 layer 3.5” cake, which happens to be the Maryland State Dessert, and ships them frozen to all 50 states and many restaurants. The company has been in business since 2009 and was an early entrant into the e-commerce food space.

One of 12 fellows to receive a $30,000 scholarship for a 9-month graduate-level fellowship program that exists to engage emerging professionals and scholars through a framework of applied philosophy and theology. While at Trinity Forum Academy I studied the issue of rising student debt, college sustainability, and the surrounding public policy. I developed a scriptural framework about debt and giving.
