Use precision inspection techniques to inspect products, processes and procured items to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Develop and execute audit plans to assure the processes are being followed, equipment is being maintained and calibrated and materials meet all requirements including shelf life. Coordinate with maintenance, supervision and/or operations team in the set up and calibration of equipment and tooling. Examines painted and/or coated parts, assemblies, and subassemblies visually for conformance with drawings and specifications. Monitor and report on material logs, including freezer and out time records for composite materials. Direct communication with customers and DCMA as needed.
