Jul 2019 - Aug 2020
Participated in under the direction of Dr. Keith Roper in the NanoBioPhotonics lab. Worked with computational models to better understand electron plasmonic activity. Presented at Utah Biomedical Engineering Conference, Hansen Life Sciences Retreat, and the Intermountain Biological Engineering Conference. I am writing a manuscript of the work I have done for publication. Participated in under the direction of Dr. Keith Roper in the NanoBioPhotonics lab. Teaching Assistant

May 2019 - Dec 2019
I was a teaching assistant for BENG 3200 Introduction to Unit Operations in Bioprocesses. I held office hours weekly to assist students on their homework and in understanding course concepts. I worked with another TA to organize and run the lab portion of the course in which we introduced the students to basic bioreactors and had them use them and a microorganism to produce a product. We also showed some of the process of obtaining and purifying the product from the fermentation media. I also was involved in the grading of the coursework. Show less
