Developed and rolled out new preventive maintenance policies. • Work directly with purchasing, maintenance department and corporate to achieve a zero downtime, zero loss of revenue result. • Oversee towing vessel fleet as well as 2 AHT ranging from 3000HP to 10,000 HP. • Implemented a monthly vessel inspection program to all vessels in fleet. • Assist with any repairs as needed which consist of prime movers, propulsion and light electrical. • Oversee dry dock bidding and repairs and final bill negotiations. • Managed all orders being sent to vessel to assure accuracy and cost efficiency. Overview of all procurement of company to ensure best cost effectiveness. • Assured that vessels maintained compliance with ABS, USCG,(port state control) BV, Vanuatu and Mexican maritime regulations. • Hiring of all seamen and staff, assurance that all vessels/office are staffed in accordance with regulations. • Maintain proper paperwork for ISM program and oversee programs are being followed. • Formed and currently sit on Safety Management Committee to make changes and enforce ISM and safety management. • Assist with bidding of projects and final bill reconciliation. • Customer relations and project management, oversee vessel and barge movements and final billing of projects. • Assure all vessels are in compliance and complete OVID inspections. • Arrangement of on-hire/off-hire of vessels • Vessel chartering and vetting • Sales and direct customer communications Show less
