  I have worked as a freelance body painter, artist, makeup artist, web designer, and digital media consultant for 10 years for 12 years For the first 8 years, I did part time small jobs around my college/full time work, but 4 years ago I went full time and established my office/studio in La Catedral Studios. 2 years ago I focused 100% of my time on face & body painting and makeup, leaving my background in digital media and programming behind. I merged with another body painter to build my Dublin Body Painting Jam community in to a company that has quickly become the go to place in Dublin for body painting. Show less

  I work as a HTML integrator. The designers in my department create the aesthetic of each pop under using photoshop and flash, depending on the category for which it will be used. They then send me the files and i convert the flat image into seperate components and slot them into the template. When I joined the company there was a template for these pop unders. I developed it further, and eventually created a new one based on the old one. Both of these templates are still used. The main languages used in these templates are php, css, html and javascript. Each pop under offers the user 3 or 4 prizes and we needed a way to track which gifts were the most popular. I developed a database of all the prizes and assigned them id numbers and categories. Using this we can generate a statistical analysis of which gifts are the most popular both overall and within each category. I also manage the contents of the database, adding new prizes, and recording which prizes were offered with each pop under. I have designed a number of fps myself, but I have been moving more towards developing interactive flash games, rather than basic animations. This has been done in stages, through developing a basic unsophisticated game to start, and using this as a basis upon which to build. I have been aiming to implement a MVC framework using an object oriented concept. Show less
