    • Wildlife Rehabilitation Intern
      • May 2021 - Jul 2021

As a wildlife rehabilitation intern, I monitored daily feeding for approximately 160 wild animals ranging from newborns to adults. I administered medicine such as parvovirus vaccines, flea/tick medication, and daily medication for seizures, blood pressure, etc. The animals on site were rabies-vector species, so I was able to get hands-on experience with dealing with these animals. I assisted in capturing injured/orphaned animals in the wild to bring back to the sanctuary for rehabilitation until release. I assisted with maintenance such as building fences, washing kennels and bedding, and lawn care. I also got to experience behind the scenes of the workings of a non-profit organization and grant writing. Show less

I played an extremely active role across all aspects of NMB RV Resort and Dry Dock Marina. As a front desk clerk, I took reservations for camp sites, solved any problems that campers or boaters had, and was the main communication between visitors and management. I handled all dry dock and wet slip contracts, including monthly and annual payments. I gave tours to prospective renters of dry dock spaces while telling necessary information. I ensured the marina met all environmental standards and upheld the best customer service in the Myrtle Beach area. I handled rental contracts (pontoons, jet skis, golf carts, etc.) and informed renters on the instructions and rules of use. Show less
