As part of my University degree, I worked in a team of three to curate, deliver and promote a panel discussion for Leicester Comedy Festival. My roles included producing a digital poster to promote the event across a variety of social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook. In addition I took on the role of artist liaison and maintained communication with our acts, and ensured they had everything they needed for a smooth running of events. Our panel discussion reached over 200 people live on Facebook, with 80 further interactions taken. My group was also nominated for Student of the Year Award as part of our contributions to the festival Show less

Dec 2021 - Dec 2021
In December of last year, alongside fellow De Montfort University students, I developed and produced an open mic night titled The Live Exchange which took place at The Exchange Bar in Leicester. My responsibilities included leading the marketing and promotion across social media platforms as well as interacting and building rapport with the local community. On the night of the event, myself and a fellow student took on the role of compère, introducing performers and running through COVID safety precautions with attendees. The evening was a great success and we are hoping to make The Live Exchange a regular event. Show less
