I was one of three escrow officers in charge of closing real estate transactions. Just to name a few things, I would prepare prelim settlement statements and final settlement statements. Disburse files. Conduct final closings. I would also fill in where necessary opening orders or title clearing.

Acting Manager

As acting manager I was in charge of every file from open to close. I handled both residential and commercial transactions simultaneously. Daily, I would communicate with the bank seeing what was filing and produce final invoices. I would prepare final closing packages and get them ready to send to the counties. I would also enter all new orders and produce all commitments after reviewing title. Finally, I would also prepare other affidavits, lien searches, policies, PROFORMAS, etc.

Escrow Assistant

I assisted the senior escrow officer on all residential transactions. After entering the order and receiving it back from the title department, I would do all title clearing. Ordering surveys, payoffs, escrow letters, etc. When the file was complete I would produce all final policies.
