  Release is the national centre of expertise on drugs and drugs law.I am currently undertaking primary research into the socio-economic and ethnic disparities in the policing and prosecution of drug offences throughout London.I presented this research at this year’s International Society for the Study of Drug Policy (ISSDP) Conference in Rome, which led to a feature in the publication ‘Vice’.The final research paper is due to be published later this year.Research and analysis into the economic costs of the policing of drug possession offences is also due to start later this year.Other responsibilities include managing research interns as well as being responsible for the management of the NGO’s social media, including Facebook; Twitter and for the publication of a monthly newsletter with a following of over 4,000.
