  Independently taught American Sign Language to preschool children in various childcare centres using the "123 Sign with Me" curriculum units from WeeHands. Each curriculum unit contained signs that corresponded with the theme (Weather, School, Expressions, Clothing) and included songs, books and activities to facilitate learning the corresponding signs. Gained experience implementing a "Early Communication Skills Home Program" developed by WeeHands with a 18 month old child with Down's Syndrome. Gained experience in other areas as well including swallowing exercises such as the Mendelsohn Maneuver, and performing audiological screenings on patients who may be experiencing hearing loss.
