      Providing production support to the Production Manager and wider team for the duration of artists first UK Tour in nearly 15 years. Being the only Production Assistant, my role involved assisting in the management of 50 crew and core team, across 14 show venues (inc. London O2 Arena and Glastonbury Festival) on the tour.       My current role as Events Manager at Barcadia Media is a very varied and fast paced working environment, which I thrive in and really enjoy. My main responsibility is for our companies awards ceremonies. We boast three of the biggest financial services award ceremonies, including a newly launched Property Reporter Awards, Financial Reporter Awards and Women in Finance Recognition Awards. All three events, held in different locations in London, are ceremonies to congratulate and recognise the hard work of the industry individuals throughout the years and both are up to 500 people. I am solely responsible for the management of these events from concept, to budgeting, liaising with external contractors and venues and management on the day. I am also responsible for managing logistics, bookings and arrangements for all educational roadshow events we hold on a fortnightly basis, including: sourcing and booking suitable venues and hotels, meeting budgets/targets, liaising with venues and hotels prior to events, managing invoices and commissions as well as liaising with the accounts department on this, venue contracts, managing event stock and providing relevant, topical and important information to all attendees inline with the marketing schedule. Being responsible for these educational events has always meant a lot of travelling up and down the country to secure venues and manage the events on the day. Additionally, the business has recently taken on other local business opportunities. This means I have also been responsible for external launch parties and networking events to target the locals and emphasize brand awareness. I solely plan and manage any client networking events along with all staff occasions and events. This includes client Christmas parties, client award ceremonies and client networking events - all of which need to be in line with a brief and budget.

      My role as a Production Assistant at TellyJuice was to support the producers and creatives across all areas of production and post-production. My daily tasks included: writing call sheets, booking crew/cast members, booking and managing audio sessions, prepping/maintaining/storing camera and sound kit, hiring kit/props, researching locations and acting as a runner on shoots. The course was led by a very experienced BBC Production Manager and was a really helpful course. Finally, I was responsible for our social media accounts which included posting relevant and frequent content to engage with our audiences on a number of platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. In order to do this effectively, I completed a Social Media Marketing course with MediaTraining UK.

      After a two year apprenticeship, I was offered a full-time job as a cost estimator at BAE Systems. My team and I were responsible for submitting appropriate prices to our global customers and meeting their high expectations.
