I enjoy working as an assistant coach, focusing on middle distance and long jump. My goal is help athletes develop lifelong habits, a healthy competitive nature, and inner personal drive to be their best!

    • 7th Grade Basketball Coach
      • Nov 2014 - Feb 2019

As the first school sports experience for many girls, my goal as a coach is to help athletes understand the basics of basketball and a love for the game. I help them focus on fundamentals and become students of the game while learning how to be a part of a team, and part of a school sport.

    • HS Math Teacher
      • Aug 2016 - Jun 2018

Bloom-Carroll High School services approximately 600 students in the rural community of Carroll, Ohio, about 20 minutes southeast of Columbus. I currently teach Algebra 2 to mostly Juniors and Seniors, working in both general education and co-teaching settings. I also teach a support course for students earning their fourth math credit towards graduation. I enjoy working with a wide-range of students and ability levels, helping students connect their interests and talents with the field of mathematics. The small school setting provides a sense of family and community, while sometimes providing challenges like limited fiscal and human resources. BCHS has a strong agriculture and Future Farmers of America program, in addition to a strong arts and music department. Recent areas of growth include large numbers of students utilizing local career centers, advanced placement classes, and an increase in the number of clubs and athletic teams. BCHS is part of a growing school district, with recent improvements in technology integration and course offerings. Show less
