Outdoor Nation Delegate

Chosen as a delegate to participate in the first Outdoor Nation Summit in New York City. This was the largest and most diverse event of its kind in America's history, where more than 500 youth leaders representing all 50 states joined together to address the growing disconnect between young people and the outdoors. As delegates, we set a national outdoor agenda, identified actions that needed to take place, and produced a Special Report on America's Great Outdoors for President Obama. This ultimately sparked hundreds of projects across the country.
