  As a Volunteer Coordinator, I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of volunteer management, from onboarding and orientation to ongoing engagement and recognition. This includes facilitating background checks and paperwork, as well as placing volunteers in appropriate roles based on their skills and interests. I take pride in creating a positive and engaging experience for our volunteers, including organizing curated events and check-ins to keep our volunteers connected and motivated. In addition to volunteer management, I also oversee our intern program, which involves recruiting, hiring, and supervising interns to ensure they are getting the support and guidance they need to succeed. I am proficient in Salesforce, which I use as our volunteer management system to track volunteer hours, donations, and engagement. As part of my role, I also keep track of in-kind donations received and attend community engagement events to build relationships with stakeholders and promote our organization's mission.
