Account Management was the perfect role for me to move in to at this point in my career as it allowed me to accumulate my years of previous Customer Service, Faults, Complaint and Sales experience and wrap this all in to one role and show what I am capable of achieving. Managing over 130 SME customers my main role was avoiding revenue erosion and focusing on cross selling our portfolio into my base. I was very successful in achieving this with an EOY result of 136% contract value increase and 109% annual revenue total in a market where this pricing on core data products was very quickly reducing and being one of the highest performing Account Managers in the business as a result. Using my own time to research our partner offerings as well as our direct product suite was key to this and as a result became a key contributor on opportunities out side of my base where product knowledge was required by others to ensure success with their opportunities and created a platform for me to focus on areas that took my interest which for me was IP Voice and SD-WAN solutions and from 01/2019 I was seconded to supporting the business in these opportunities whilst also managing my own base of customers.
