Completed apprenticeship at Incitec Pivot then progressed to Electrical/Instrumentation Technician. Instrument Experience • Develop and participate in the execution of preventive and reactive instrument maintenance. • Install, calibrate, overhaul, commission and fault find Instrumentation systems. Including level, flow, pressure, temperature, density, nuclear, and PH transmitters, control valves, gas detectors and chromatographs, DCS and PLC systems. • Conduct routine safety instrument function testing on Safety Instrument Systems and financial instrument function testing, whilst updating relevant dossiers to ensure compliance. • Bentley Nevada monitoring systems on gas and steam turbines, compressors, and electrical motors. • Develop, review and update procedures, work instructions and work orders. Electrical Experience • Conduct switching, preventive and reactive maintenance, installation, commission, and fault finding on LV and HV (3.3 and 11kV) systems. • EEHA Hazardous Area inspections, installation, testing, commissioning, and fault finding on equipment located in Zone 1 and 2 and type IIC gas environments.
