Marine Zone Supervisor accountabilities: - Ensure all marine operation on site are carried out in safe & timely manner by advising clients & site managers regarding marine aspects to agreed procedures in line with HSE requirement. - Ensure competency assessment of barge marine crew & the various big marine/small marine teams in order to meet with his good expertise on marine point of view. - Assist & achieve line management on planned project activities by delivering daily & monthly reporting in timely manner in order to achieve company objects. - Guaranty marine service continuity (follow up status of vessel under his area, contact with contractors for day to day operations about operations, technical & crew, organize frequent visits on board floating unit to assess their compliance with PHM & contract requirement, particularly about the ship’s crew completeness by requiring up date crew list, issues by Port Authority & take care that it is also performed on sites by Marine Authority representative). - Ensure zone coordinator is kept advise on marine operations, attending daily permit meetings or operations coordination meeting. - Coordinate all marine operations on zone to ensure that critical marine operations are supervised by appointed experience marine representative to the barges. - Inspection of PHM navigation aid issuing required report & navigation warning as required by LSA Balikpapan. - Investigate & report on any marine incident. AVTS Controller accountabilities: - Monitoring & controlling vessels movement equipped with AVTS system in Delta Mahakam, including Public vessel’s whenever possible. - Support & assist during Emergency situation. - Check & ensure that Delta marine transport operations are complying with company policies & regulations. - Provide guidance & advice for Big Marine vessels related to critical area - Provide recommendation of the best way how to pass or approach the area, inform weather condition & provide the passage plan - Report to site marine authority if any complex & critical situation that vessels declared required any advice or multiple alarms indicating more than one vessel approaching marine hazard. - Coordination with respective site marine authority & logistic representative on sites. - Coordination with respective site dispatcher. - Observe any weather alert then to broadcast necessary to all vessels in the vicinity. - Indicate marine hazard on the screen & ensure ring that all vessel crew understood, necessary to broadcast regularly.
