As Assistant Teacher I am the right hand of the lead teachers in the room as well as when they leave the room. I help organize and set up activities to help keep the kids busy and learning. I also need to be able to help direct other teacher on what to do and how they can help the children. With this position I had to get CPR and First Aid certified. Right now I we have 25 kids so I need to check them in and update our boards so I as well as all the other teachers now which kids and how many kids we have in our classroom. Show less

My Assistant Teaching position at this childcare center I was in the infant room. I had to make new schedules each day that was based around each babies individual needs. Being in this room helped me be able to multi task, at one point we had 15 babies. Somedays I would have to feed two of them as well as bounce another one to sleep using my foot. I was the closer so at the end of the night I would have to mop vacuum all the rooms, take out the garbage, make sure all the kids are checked out and organize the face to name sheets for the next day. • Sep 2015 - May 2016

As a server I had to be able to memorize both a food and drink menu as well as any specials we had and the days and times those specific specials took place. It taught me how to be more organized because I would have to take multiple different orders (some with special request) for multiple different tables at one time so I would have to organize the orders in a way where I could remember which food goes where. I also learned how to be able to multi task during very peak eating times. I regularly would have to make quick change as well as answering phones and taking online orders. Each night I worked I was assigned a different set up of areas to clean up before I got to leave. Show less

As a receptionist it was my job to schedule, change and cancel appointments as well as uppdate the stylist on any changes to their scheule, I would have to do this over the phone and in person. I would also have to call clients that had appointments the next day just to remind them. Also I would sell products available in our store and giftcards. During my shift I would clean multiple times keeping the salon organzied and looking good, I woukd also do laundry, re stock products, towels and supplies needed for the clients. At the end of my shift I would have to make sure the register was balanced and then would have to bring the money to the bank to make a deposit. Show less
