Vertically Integrated Project- Developing a Machine Learning Pipeline to determine, from patients’ Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM) data, whether Oral Cancer is present.- Utilised data cleansing, merging and various statistical analyses in MATLAB to extract significant features and train Machine Learning (ML) algorithms from both Python (ScikitLearn) and Julia (Flux) Libraries.- Communicated closely with a team of engineering students and academics to compare efficacy of different ML algorithms (Convolutional Neural Networks, Support Vector Machine & Random Forest) through statistical data reporting in Julia.
