      Finance I am the financial controller for both the Board of Trustees and the Board of Proprietors having responsibility over; • The year end audit process for both Boards. This includes the preparation of two sets of financial statements prepared in accordance with Tier 2 Public Benefit Entity (PBE) Financial Reporting Standards as issued by the New Zealand External Reporting Board (XRB). This involves developing over 25 budgets for budget holders and then combing these together to form the “Master Budget”. These budget holders are reported to quarterly. • Management account preparation. I prepare the management accounts for both Boards and present these at Board meetings. • The Senior Accounts officer and Accounts Receivable officer. I review and oversee their work in the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and GST parts of the business. Senior Leadership Team I am part of the team that forms the strategic goals and direction of the School. We meet regularly and discuss key aspects of the business focusing on; health and safety, staffing, curriculum, property, policies and procedures Property As the Property Manager I am responsible for: • Overseeing the Caretaker, Grounds Person and Cleaners – 7 staff in total • Ensuring the property is well maintained using a 10 year maintenance plan • Project management • Relationships with external contractors Board Secretary I function as the Board Secretary for both the Board of Trustees and the Board of Proprietors. I prepare the Board papers, attend Board meetings, taking minutes, report on Financial and Property matters and coordinate the Boards.
