  Collect water samples of drinking water supply from various locations in the catchment including on Grahamstown dam and upstream. Following a storm incident test water at various points to investigate wastewater overflows to investigate need for remediation. Usisng GIS and Hunter Water's system program SCADA gain an understanding of the water supply network for the entire hunter region from catchment to consumers and then on to wastewater treatment and disposal or recycling. Personally travel around the network and visit various significant locations to cement my understanding. Including reservoirs, weirs, pumping stations, canals, treatment plants and testing points. Create graphs using Excel to aid in interpretation of water test results Create heatmaps using Surfer program representing concentrations of various parameters according to geographic location.
