Research Staffer
-
Jan 2018 - Jun 2019
I was a research staffer with the Harvard School of Public Health's India Health System Project. I was on the project's health care financing team, working primarily with Professors William Hsiao and Winnie Yip, both health economists. I helped develop surveys for field data collection and standardized analytical tools for assessing health system finance, performed secondary data analysis, conducted literature reviews, and prepared case teaching materials for HSPH's senior policymaker education programs in India. The HSPH India Health System Project, financially backed by the Gates Foundation, is an interdisciplinary initiative to collaboratively research, develop, and pilot potentially scalable policy reforms at the state level in India, working in tandem with partner Indian state governments and research organizations.
