Amanda has been a fantastic addition to our team at Gail Borden library. She's resourceful, well organized, a leader and has a great sense of humor that keeps things fun at work. Amanda is well connected with business organizations and brings people together in the community. She has worked with the KCDEE, SCORE, IDES, the Chamber of Commerce, and many other groups. She's an effective presenter when teaching our LinkedIn or resume classes or when providing reference information on one of our public service desks. Her friendly personality and willingness to help out is greatly appreciated and I've been lucky to work with her!

I am delighted to recommend Amanda Gardner, whom I've had the pleasure of working with at Gail Borden Public Library for the last two years. Amanda possess many qualities that make her an asset to our organization including patience, a sense of humor, the ability to negotiate for win-win outcomes, and a sense of optimism and fun regarding her work. She has helped us build strong partnerships with our local business community, specifically, the Kane County Department of Employment and Education, which provides resume assistance to many of our job seekers. She works with SCORE, IDES, the Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Neighborhood Association, and other organizations to offer workshops and programs that provide critical information for our small business owners, and frequently teaches classes on LinkedIn and Resume creation for district residents. In short, the value Amanda adds to our library services is phenomenal and we are lucky to have her on staff!
