I have had the privilege and pleasure of working with Bulent on the design, development, and testing of an Electronics Warfare Suite which was being jointly developed by our two companies over a 10+ year period. We held similar job positions for our respective companies, basically Lead Design Engineer for Microwaves and RF as it pertained to the EW System. There were many obstacles to overcome, and despite our differing cultures, we were always able to negotiate the problems and arrive at solutions which were amenable to all parties. Bulent's knowledge of Excel, MatLab, ADS, and other tools were greatly helpful during the design phase. His general knowledge of electronics and computers was most helpful during the testing phases. He supervised and directed several more junior engineers which reported to him on this program. In addition, the majority of microwave devices used on this program were jointly developed by our two organizations. This consisted of writing specifications, evaluating proposal responses, selecting suppliers, detailed design reviews, and prototype testing of hardware. Bulent and his team were an integral part of this process, both at our facility and at many supplier facilities as well. Bulent demonstrated strong leadership, dedication, and commitment to the program's success. He is passionate about his work and achieves results. I would highly recommend his character and work ethic to anyone.
