    • Network Specialist - Global Fiber / MPLS / SD-WAN
      • Jan 2014 - Present

𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝘾𝙀𝙎𝙎: When it comes to the various SD-WAN providers & solutions there’s no one size fits all answer. I start with a detailed assessment of the current infrastructure to determine which provider is right for my client. My clients get access to my team of network engineers (at no cost) to help determine bandwidth aggregation needs, packet inspection, QoS, site-to-site VPNs, network access security, and many other features that make software-defined networking a true game-changer.𝙃𝙊𝙒 𝙈𝙔 𝘾𝙇𝙄𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙎 𝘽𝙀𝙉𝙀𝙁𝙄𝙏: Clients save a considerable amount of time trying to determine the differences between all the SD-WAN providers within Gartner’s Magic Quadrant.𝙒𝙃𝙔 𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙎 𝙄𝙎 𝙄𝙈𝙋𝙊𝙍𝙏𝘼𝙉𝙏: There are many unknown factors that make an SD-WAN provider an absolute “no-go” for a company. For example: maybe your cloud SD-WAN provider is also an ISP that (unknown to you) is a part of your ISPs last mile. You experience a fiber cut and now your SD-WAN provider (who was supposed to be handling Bandwidth aggregation & failover) isn’t working.𝙒𝙃𝙔 𝙎𝙃𝙊𝙐𝙇𝘿 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝙈𝙄𝙂𝙍𝘼𝙏𝙀 𝙏𝙊 𝙎𝘿-𝙒𝘼𝙉? There are a hundred reasons but a few of them are expensive MPLS circuits, slow network speeds, avoiding CAD or PRI outages, voice QOS issues, clunky load-balancing, a need for a single set of static IPs across all providers.
