It is difficult to find someone who is willing to take time and walk you through a task you need to prepare. I had a pleasure of working with Barry when I first joined Wiss & Company as Tax Intern. It is common knowledge that tax is a challenging field which I knew nothing about at the time, but Barry was a very patient teacher and he was always willing to answer any questions I had. I was always really impressed by how much he knew about tax law and by his ability to deal with tough clients. No matter how difficult the tax season was, Barry always had a joke up his sleeve and made sure everyone had a smile on. I believe Barry would be an asset to any company! P.S. On a personal note ... When I first joined Schneider Downs, Barry was one of the in-charges who volunteered to help me learn the tax software/firm processes. Barry has a great personality and calm demeanor that make him enjoyable to work with. This combined with his willingness to help others and his years of experience in tax / public accounting would make him a great asset for any organization.

I've enjoyed working with Barry. He is a great technician and was technically proficient with all of our software. I gave Barry a tax return with 40 states and he returned it to me the most complete I've ever gotten it, which helped me out tremendously during the heart of busy season. If his opinion differs from mine regarding an approach we need to take on a specific client issue, he wants to understand why, which is a great mindset. Barry's communications with client personnel have always been professional in manner. I had no problems putting him in front of a client.
