- As the Tulane University Peer Health Educators Peer Residential Liaison Coordinator I work closely with Tulane Peer Health Educators and Tulane's Sexual Assault Hotline and Education program to create events in freshman residential halls that help freshman find upperclassmen mentors. The events and services I provide include being a familiar face to students living on campus, helping students adjust to college life, and creating a safe space. Our programs allow students to engage with campus life and help them achieve work- life balance. With this experience, I have enjoyed my role as a mentor and have learned to be more patient, empathetic and confident in how to inspire others. - Leads workshops and discussions for students as a NASPA-certified peer educator covering a variety of health topics including drug and alcohol use, sexual wellness, sleep and stress, and sexual violence. - Promotes health and wellness as a leader on Tulane’s campus.
