While finishing up school I worked part-time as a superintendent and project manager with Al Neyer. I helped run a tenant-improvement project for Summit Packaging from January to March. The project was a 6,000 sf office with a warehouse. The project was just beginning when I started. We did a two full height demising walls with a turn-key office package. This project was very hands on, I was our on-site representative coordinating trades to deliver a quality project on time and under budget. The last two months I spent going through design and bidding a project for a fortune 500 retail company planning to start as I go full-time. Show less

Spent 3 semesters functioning in different roles. 1. My first semester (May 20 - September 20) as an on-site resource to the Al Neyer field team on a multi-family project The Approach at Summit Park in Blue Ash, Ohio. In this role, I prepared daily logs for our subcontractors on-site, closed the project out during the punchlist phase, coordinated trades to meet project schedule. 2. My second semester (January 21 - May 21) was spent in the office/working from home as a site estimator. As an estimator I worked in a couple different software's. I would do utility takeoffs in bluebeam. Utility takeoffs would capture linear footage of storm, fire, sanitary, gas, and water lines. Once I came up with these quantities I would use GPS technology to create a cut/fill calculation in a software called Agtek. After all this I would input my quantities and cut/fill in excel to estimate the cost to develop a site. I did projects in many different markets: Dayton, Ohio, Cincinnati, Ohio, Raleigh, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Nashville, Tennessee. 3. This co-op (May 21 - August 21) was spent working with the project management team for a few industrial projects and 1 multi-family project. I used and developed a number of skills this semester like bidding all scopes of a project, meeting minutes, progress reports, project close-out, on-site reporting, and billing accounts payable. Some clients and developers I worked with during this semester were: Amazon, Clarion, JLL, and Urban Sites. My projects took place in Northern Kentucky and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Show less
