  As a member of the Washington Conservation Corps branch of AmeriCorps I was provided the opportunity to assist in disaster relief efforts in Puerto Rico in early 2018. During the summer, my crew maintained the Enchanted Valley Trail on the East fork of the Quinault River in Olympic National Park- clearing brush over growth, terraforming, and cutting fallen hazard trees.
