As an RT intern, I worked one-on-one and in groups with clients with developmental disabilities. We implemented community-based programming, focused on the development of social, emotional, and cognitive skills. I maintained the daily notes and record of each client I was assigned, the day I was assigned them. During the internship, I also completed university-level coursework relating to my internship experience and growth as a recreational therapist. After completing this internship I graduated with my Bachelor's and acquired my CTRS.
