Apr 2020 - Present
I began the Bauer Professional MBA program at the University of Houston in August 2020 As of June 2021 I have completed 56% of the program and expect to graduate in December 2021. In addition to the core business curriculum, I have structured my course work to focus on studying the implications of the Energy Transition including the potential of geothermal energy, the applications of CCUS, and the role of hydrogen and other alternative fuels. I am also particularly interested in the role of distributed energy resources and storage solutions in addressing the challenges associated with modernizing the national electric grid. My goal is to gain a broader understanding of the overall Global Energy industry to complement my experience in the Oil & Gas sector and provide comprehensive expertise regarding the technological and economic challenges and opportunities presented by the various solutions emerging in the diversifying energy industry.
