Ridgeland, Mississippi, United States For this role, I was hired to do much of what I had done at Regions for the past 17years, which was to promote and grow Renasant's Institutional and Personal Trust business within the market. In order to do so, this required me to develop cross-channel buy-in within our local Renasant teams, to improve data sharing to help create a client list for organic growth, while also using external contacts and calling efforts to bring in new relationships for Renasant. Ridgeland, Mississippi I was originally hired within AmSouth Wealth Management as a Private Banker, responsible for a rather large book of clients. While in the role, my main focus was to attend to our clients needs, which included: depository and credit needs, mortgage, and to introduce them to other lines of business within AmSouth. For example, our growing asset management division, business banking, or commercial lending for more sophisticated lending needs. While in the role, my main focus was to attend to our clients needs, which included: depository and credit needs, mortgage, and to introduce them to other lines of business within AmSouth. For example, our growing asset management division, business banking, or commercial lending for more sophisticated lending needs. In order to be successful in this role, I needed to grow relationships internally and externally. Because of my wealth management background, Amsouth/Regions asked me to help them grow AUM for Regions Investment Management (RIM), which included both personal and institutional asset management opportunities. We were very successful in doing so, achieving the top producer in 2007 and 2008. In 2009, Regions desired to grow their institutional AUM within Regions Institutional Investment Management (RIIM), and they asked me to grow institutional assets for RIIM exclusively. I agreed and through a collaborative effort, we were once again very successful within Regions, consistently within the top quartile of producers, and as a result, I achieved the highest award within Regions, known as Chairman's Club for 2009, 2010, and 2014. Jackson, Mississippi After graduating with my MBA, I joined Legg Mason's financial advisor training program. During this program, I passed the Series 7 and 66 examinations, and then launched into building a book of clients. The hard worked paid off, and I was the first one in my class to graduate from the training program!
