Bryana is a dedicated and thoughtful mentor for our new students at UNCG. She has worked with me as a Peer Academic Leader (PAL) at UNC Greensboro for the past academic year, and with our office for the last two academic years. During which, I had the honor of being her direct supervisor as the Coordinator for First Year Experience. She is a creative problem solver and is always ready and willing to lend a hand to her students, her instructor, and her fellow Peer Academic Leaders. She has been an invaluable mentor and asset in the classroom and has positively impacted her students for the last two years. As a Peer Academic Leader, she is always thinking of what is best for her students and their transition to life as a college student at UNCG. This thoughtfulness and foresight is a valuable asset and I am proud of the work that Bryana has accomplished as a PAL.

I serve as an advocate, teaching assistant, and mentor for first-year students enrolled in my section of the FYE 101: Succeed at the G course. Succeed at the G is a first-year seminar course that equips students with the tools and resources to be successful in college and life. I have had the pleasure of further developing my leadership skills and helping students transition.
