Provide capital project management expertise to execute a $450M portfolio of renovation projects on existing properties. In addition to overseeing project teams in the execution of capital improvement projects, provide expertise in performing due diligence and evaluations of potential acquisitions including development of 10 year Capital plans. Also provide design and construction input and feedback for costs, schedules and scope on potential ROI projects. Evaluate new development opportunities at existing properties for hotel, timeshare and mixed use. Notable renovation projects include guestroom, ballrooms and public space at the New York Marriott Marquis, Westin Kierland ballroom addition and renovation, Boston Copley Marriott guestrooms, Newark Airport Marriott ballroom addition, public spaces and guestroom renovations. In addition to the management of a portfolio of CAPEX renovation projects, lead the completion of the development and construction of a luxury131 unit timeshare project in Maui, HI. Project was a Joint Venture partnership between Host and Hyatt Residential Group with Host as the Development Manager and majority equity partner and Hyatt as the JV Manager and Operator. In addition to being responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development of the project, oversaw the completion of entitlements including parcel subdivision and SMA compliance efforts and assisted in the negotiations of the construction loan and the JV formation. As a Host representative of the JV Management Committee provide on-going oversight to the sales and marketing and operations efforts. The project was delivered on time and under budget.
