I served in the United States Army for 15 years, in both active and reserve roles. I have deployed 3 times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. As a Soldier I was expected to be proficient in my job tasks and skills. I was expected to operate as part of a team. I was expected to maintain my equipment and keep my superiors informed on things that were going on. As a leader, I trained, motivated, and equipped those under me to perform these duties and ensured they were always ready and willing to perform any job given to them. Show less
