      Main duties include participating in 24/7 on-call rotations which required troubleshooting and supporting multiple high profile mobile applications and the underlying data center and cloud infrastructure. Led the team in the planning, building and migration of the companies mobile application infrastructure from KVM virtualization to Openstack and from Openstack into AWS over a 3 year long project. Building and refining monitoring and alerting with Cloudwatch, Datadog, Loggly, Icinga, Nagios, Grafana, Elasticsearch, and Kibana, Experience working with 3rd party CDN providers like Akamai, Twilio and Sendgrid. During downtime, Initiated substantial cost savings by auditing cloud resources across dozens of AWS accounts to identify unused / unneeded resources that could be reclaimed. Show less
