Bryan Hosford has worked as a Remote Sensing Analyst for the last 7 years, participating in the collection, processing and analysis of LiDAR, orthophotographic, hyperspectral data sets for projects totaling more than 500,000 acres. He currently assesses LiDAR from third party vendors to assure that deliverables are within scope and adhere to USGS and FEMA standards for the desired application. He has supported numerous investigations at Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS) by collecting and processing aerial LiDAR data to help locate unexploded weapons. Tandem to these efforts, he’s been a GIS Analyst involved in over 22 Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) Phase I and Phase II projects acting as Lead GIS Analyst, supporting visual surveys, soil sampling, and removal actions for over 10 of these projects. He has provided GIS services for environmental assessment, powerline/pipeline, geologic mapping and a variety of other types of projects. - LiDAR assessment quality control to USGS, ASPRS and FEMA standards- 7 years LiDAR and orthophotography field and post-processing, including verification, GPS, and INS processing- Ground support, including base station operation, collecting QC points, and RTK / PPK surveys- Analysis of LiDAR and orthophotography datasets, including classification algorithms, feature extraction, and QA/AC - 7+ years GIS Analyist providing service on 70+ projects- Lead GIS Analyst on 15+ major MMRP projects involving all phases of project support: logistical, technical, and AQ/QC
